Rachel Briones shares a unique passion for visual storytelling, creative business development and marketing. With a BFA in Digital Filmmaking and Media Production from the Art Institute of Houston, Rachel empowers her students as a high school teacher, Audio and Video Production.
Rachel has embraced the camera and the entire media and motion graphics atmosphere to make it her career. To that end, she completed studies in TV & Radio Broadcasting from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. To complete the business side of her passion, she also attained her AS in Business Management from the University of Houston, because both training and experience are tools Rachel felt was needed to make her clients and/or employers and students very successful. Rachel's education and talent enables her to apply various artistic and business concepts to producing video and photography, business change management, marketing, editing, and directing.
Rachel is a high school AVP teacher and an Adjunct Professor in the Visual Communication Department. With both on camera and post production work she finds a balance between creativity and a message that works best to achieve client objectives. Her goal for Girls Above Society is to utilize her skills in a way that visually tells a complete story from beginning to end in a unique way but most importantly, a memorable way. Having been a supporter of Lauren and Girls Above Society since it's inception she believes whole heartedly in the message and empowerment of today's young girls.
Cylk Cozart was born on February 1st, just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee, to a Native American (Cherokee) Mother and an African American father. His athletic ability in football and basketball led him to King College in Bristol, where he majored in Child Psychology. After college, Cylk chased his dream of becoming a pro basketball player but a foot injury while playing in the NBA’s Summer Pro League, cut short his sports career. Cozart focused his attention to professional modeling.Two years in Miami, Fla, proved to be productive and soon traveled to New York City, to sign with the Famous, Wilhelmina Modeling agency. He was soon featured in premiere magazines like, GQ and SPORTS ILLUSTRATED.
In 2012, Cozart received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” given by the Urban League. Martin Luther King III, son of Iconic Global activist, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, and academy award winner, Lou Gossett Jr, presented the prestigious award.

Jaedeanne Galley-Shaver joined the Girls Above Society Board as the Director of Outreach in 2016. She first became involved with Girls Above Society when she organized an event for Lauren to come and speak with the top women leaders in her company, Alcon, where Jaedeanne is the Customer Service Training & Compliance Manager. This partnership has evolved in to the development of one of the most anticipated events within the company where Alcon associates can bring their daughters to work and participate in Lauren’s Girl Power Camp!
Jaedeanne holds Bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Entomology and a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Texas A&M University. In her free time she enjoys training for marathons and triathlons, cycling, hiking, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family – especially her 8-year old daughter, Ruby.

Rebecca Moore (Becca) is the Parent Involvement Coordinator and All In Student Coordinator of Massillon ISD in Ohio. . Since joining Massillon she has had the privilege of piloting Girls Above Society's GIRL TALK Curriculum for girls in grades 4-8 and hosting Girl Power Camps on campus. In 2018 The Soroptimist's awarded Becca with their Ruby Award, honoring her with the extraordinary difference she has made in the lives of young girls.
With a degree in Journalism, and Early Childhood Education, with a Masters in Counseling and Administration Becca works closely with youth as they face the tough pressures of today’s media driven society.
Outside of school work, and volunteering Becca enjoys doing triathlons and running races. She is a 2 time Boston Marathon Finisher and 2 time Ironman Finisher. She is a proud wife to Massillon High’s Head Football Coach, Nate Moore and proud Mom to son Eli and daughter Ella.

Mikal Wright is a firm believer in Girls Above Society. With an Early Childhood Degree from UHCL in 2002, she has been teaching K-1 for 17 years in Texas, Georgia and Florida. Mikal began administering the Girls Above Society GIRL TALK Curriculum in 2017. Not only did she raise the bar with additional activities for the girls, she was the first to implement a GIRL TALK celebration dinner for the girls and parents. This important element has been adopted into the program. We are thrilled to have Mikal on board as a GIRL TALK Advisor!
Aside from teaching, being a Fianc´e and Mom to Grace, 12 and Lucas 9, Mikal enjoys cooking, friends and event planning.
