Last week I had the pleasure of meeting an amazing young woman who has Cerebral Palsy. She uses a Tobii (a type of computer) to communicate with others because she cannot talk or use her muscles. After speaking with her for awhile I learned that she could paint...with her eyes! I was intrigued, inspired and incredibly amazed at her ability to turn her ideas into art. Her Tobii picks up the retina in her eye as she blinks, allowing her to be creative and basically slay at painting. Those of us who are able to walk and talk tend to take our muscles for granted, and we also tend to underestimate the power and determination of a person who has limited mobility. The day I met Megan I realized even more our "Girl Power"  should never stand in the way of our limitations...unless we allow it. Thank you Megan for being so candid with me and allowing me to peek inside your beautiful world. Visit Megan's website and learn more about her and her art!
